The Historic Montana Club

Dine in the style of millionaires at the 125-year-old Montana Club.

In the heart of Helena’s downtown historic district is a building that looks as if it were transplanted to the Rocky Mountains from early eighteenth-century London – The Montana Club http://www.mtclub.org .  Originally an exclusive gentlemen’s club, Helena’s gold-rush millionaires met at the Montana Club to socialize, strategize and politicize.  Today the Montana Club welcomes the public.  When you walk into the doors of the Montana Club, you leave behind the modern-day and step back into an era when hitching posts adorned corners of city streets, gold fever was fresh on everyone’s minds and the west was still wild.

The Montana Club can host groups from 20 to 100 people - they’d love to serve you a great lunch or dinner meal to complete your Helena, Montana experience.  Your meal will include a tour of this historic building.  You will get the unique opportunity to hear the stories behind what makes the 125 year old Montana Club so historically magical.

The Montana Club has several private dining rooms, including a handsome below ground Rathskellar, the Oval Room, the Ballroom on the top floor with spectacular views of the Capitol City, the intimate C.M. Russell Room on the 2nd floor, and the Club Presidents & Garden Rooms on the 3rd floor, in addition to the beautiful Member’s Dining Room & Lounge.

Menus are all custom- designed with lunch prices beginning at $16 per person and Dinner prices beginning at $25 per person. Pricing is inclusive of service fee and room set up fees.  Cash bar service is also available.  Book the Montana Club by calling 406-442-5980.

Wilbur Rehmann & his Quartet can provide entertainment for your group. Wilbur Rehmann and his Quartet have brought to us a sense of joy, wonder and solitude with their original jazz interpretations, which explore the interior landscapes of the American West and the meaning of wilderness.
